CarrKnight New Media 7&8

Lynn Tomlinson creates short films and new media projects that investigate historical stories told from unusual points-of-view. Tomlinson's work has been exhibited in one-person shows at Cornell University and the University of Delaware and in group shows at the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, and the National Gallery, and is in the Education Department collection of the Museum of Modern Art. Lynn Tomlinson is a community-based public artist who led the construction of four large-scale ceramic mosaics in Central Florida

Often drawing from socio-political conditions in post-apartheid South Africa, William Kentridge’s work takes on a form that is expressionist in nature. Kentridge is the recipient of honorary doctorates from several universities including Yale and the University of London. In 2015 he was appointed an Honorary Academician of the Royal Academy in London.
