Robin Hammond
"Where Love Is Illegal"
These photographs really struck me because of their content and the way Robin Hammond sets and lights her subjects. They are apart of an ongoing series she started working on in 2015 called "Where Love Is Illegal." The series is about documenting LGBTI people who live in countries that criminalize their sexual activity and people who live where it's legal but still get harassed. The emotions seem to radiate off each picture capturing every individuals story. Overall the pictures are powerful and I admire how they are exposing these individuals for a meaningful message.

Pixy Liao
"Experimental Relationship"
Experimental Relationships is an ongoing series by photographer Pixy Lao. She photographs her unconventional relationship she has with her boyfriend which has evolved over the years. The lighting is one of the things that attracts me to the images in particular. The Vibrant colors and exposure seem almost perfect and is something that Lao pays close attention to in all of her photos. Each picture is different and when the series is looked at altogether you see growth.
