I chose to show a clip from "Real Stories". Real Stories is a UK based show made in 2015. I am researching what style I should shoot to do my video on my skin condition. I found medical documentaries that are close to what I want to do. I would like to add some observational film styles as well.
HBO had a show called "Crashbox" that was made of mostly stop motion and clay animation.

Tyarria Duncan_ Multimedia Artist 7 & 8
The first artist I chose was Geoff Zanelli. He used clay animation to create a love story. Although it may not have been long it was long enough to tell a story on how you can be so in love with a person that you're willing to wait for them because you love them so much.
The second artist I chose was Nora Ephron. This video is an exert from"when Harry met Sally." These older couples talk about how they first met and what they thought when they first met. It was beautiful to see how in love these couples were and how much the younger generation should learn from them to be able to keep the love going and long lasting like these ones.

The first artist I chose was PUUUNG. They focused on the little things in life that deserve to be highlighted on when it comes to a relationship. In relationships some people believe that it is all about the expensive clothes, cars, presents, and etc. But to some all that matters are the simple gestures like going out to eat, cooking dinner, watching a movie, napping together, or even fixing things around the house. The little things matter and keep the bond between the relationship even stronger.

The second artist I chose was Annina Roeschesien "What Are You Fishing For?" she shared melancholy, orchestrated coldness, truth without a mask, the artist plunges into the heart of the union between a man and a woman In a cinematic narrative, the mental landscape which is the synthesis of the artist's physical and symbolic inner sanctum projects a combination. of two aesthetics. it was interesting how she took nature and the actual people to create a story that may have appeared to make no sense but was a deeper meaning behind how men look for women.

The first artist I chose wasn't necessarily a particular artist but a company called LDSliving. They interviewed several different couples who have been married for decades and asked them for love advice. This was absolutely one of the directions I was going to go for within my project but along with advice interviewing only two subjects and allowing them to talk about each other in each other's presence and out of each others presence also.

The second artist I chose was Carlos Lascano. He is an Argentina writer and director who specializes in animation and illustration. I chose him because once again it fell under the topic of love with an older generation. He was able to travel through the years with this couple and create a journey of their story separately and together.

I chose to show Fantastic Mr.Fox a movie that uses clay animation photography and stop motion. Wes Anderson is the writer, producer, and director of Fantastic Mr. Fox and it took 7 months to create. It took 7 months to make the Mr.Fox puppet as well. This movie took 56,000 shots. Each actor had a certain dialogue that was recorded in the same elements as their characters in order to make it sound natural. But it took a lot of takes because other outside noises were interfering with the recordings. Another stop motion film Wes Anderson made was Isle Of Dogs
Well known Tim Burton and Mike Johnson together produced "Corpse Bride". The movie was shot in a time frame of 55 weeks and resulted in 109,440 shots. One character had 10-14 puppets made in order to shoot different scenes. One animator had nightmares from always readjusting the puppets faces. Tim Burton got his inspiration from a stop motion creator named "Ray Harryhausen". This movie was only made with still photography cameras consisting of both Nikon and Canon cameras.

Ray Harryhausen
Film special effects superstar Ray Harryhausen helped elevate stop motion animation to an art. His innovative and inspiring films, from the 1950s onwards, changed the face of modern movie making forever. This largest and widest-ranging exhibition of Ray Harryhausen’s work ever seen contained newly restored and previously unseen material from his incredible archive.
Ray Harryhausen's work included the films Jason and the Argonauts, the Sinbad films of the 1950s and 1970s, One Million Years B.C. and Mighty Joe Young. He inspired a generation of filmmakers such as Peter Jackson, Aardman Animations, Tim Burton, George Lucas, and Steven Spielberg, and his influence on blockbuster cinema can be felt to this day.

Kirsten Lepore
Lepore is an LA based artist who is well known for her claymation stop motion animated videos. She has been featured in Juxtapoz, Shots Magazine, and Animation Magazine. She does also create documentary videos and feature films working with TV shows such as the feature film she made for Swiss Army Man 2016 or the feature film she made for The Trust. I peronally appriciate her claymation the most because I find it inspiring to be able to have the patience to sit down and plan something out, take all the steps that end up actually being simple, and putting it all together to make a smooth flowing video at the end of the day.

GREG MILLER-
Greg Miller (b. 1967, Nashville, Tennessee) is an American fine art photographer and Guggenheim Fellow. He began his career photographing for newspapers and magazines in New York thriving off the energy of the assignment. Dedicated to working with an 8x10 view camera, he has produced several bodies of personal work.
Miller’s work is close to my style of photography I like to do. I love how he creates time stopping scenes with people. I feel that if his collection of photos were put together it would easily make a great stop motion movie. Here’s some of his photos from the “Morning Bus” series.

James Curran is an LA-based illustrator, animator, and director who has worked on a wide variety of projects including video games, music videos, commercials, and print. He not only makes GIFs for fun but regularly works with big-name brands. I chose him because his work represented an idea I wanted to do with my grandparents as a representation of love and them dancing to music like they always do when I am away at school and not there.
