James Curran is an LA-based illustrator, animator, and director who has worked on a wide variety of projects including video games, music videos, commercials, and print. He not only makes GIFs for fun but regularly works with big-name brands. I chose him because his work represented an idea I wanted to do with my grandparents as a representation of love and them dancing to music like they always do when I am away at school and not there.
The second artist that I chose was Alena Geyzer who's a digital artist and Instagram blogger. Her work was interesting to me because there were couple gifs that revealed different layers to a person and felt like it would be cool to try something like that for my project.
