I chose to show Fantastic Mr.Fox a movie that uses clay animation photography and stop motion. Wes Anderson is the writer, producer, and director of Fantastic Mr. Fox and it took 7 months to create. It took 7 months to make the Mr.Fox puppet as well. This movie took 56,000 shots. Each actor had a certain dialogue that was recorded in the same elements as their characters in order to make it sound natural. But it took a lot of takes because other outside noises were interfering with the recordings. Another stop motion film Wes Anderson made was Isle Of Dogs
Well known Tim Burton and Mike Johnson together produced "Corpse Bride". The movie was shot in a time frame of 55 weeks and resulted in 109,440 shots. One character had 10-14 puppets made in order to shoot different scenes. One animator had nightmares from always readjusting the puppets faces. Tim Burton got his inspiration from a stop motion creator named "Ray Harryhausen". This movie was only made with still photography cameras consisting of both Nikon and Canon cameras.
