Jocelyn Allen's photos from the Instagram Challenge 03 are exactly what im looking for in terms of reference photos for my project. The upper chest and up is the area of the portrait i am working on and these are great examples of where certain cut off points should be. The main idea for mine is to catch people mid sentence or while eating and these seem perfect for the style and facial expressions im trying to get. The un natural portrait is the main focus of what these pictures are along with more abstract depictions of body parts.
over all the set up of these photos look cleaner than mine, the shadows in mine were made to be harsh for the reason to add fear or suspense to the subject matter.
