Estevan Oriol is a photographer and producer in Los Angeles, CA. His work has been exhibited around the world, and usually features gang culture in LA. He started off as a bouncer and through his personal connection with lowrider, barbecue, club and gang culture, he explored the people and places in his surroundings. I love his authenticity of course, that's something you can only earn the hard way, but I also like the up close and gritty touch. I'm not sure that's something I'm actually going to do in my series, but this is good stuff.
