Beth Teller - Week 6 Post 1

Noel Kerns is a Dallas based photographer who spends his time photographing decommissioned military bases, abandoned industrialized buildings, and ghost towns. Kerns photographs at night using the light of the moon to allow him to "light paint" creating a surreal feel to the images by use of strobes, flashlights and other artificle light with colored gels. I find the images incredibly interesting. The colors create intrigue and mystery. For his series called "Road Trip," Kerns mapped out his trip based on the lunar phases along with the ghost towns along Route 66.
