A FAIRYTALE WORLD HIDDEN IN THE LANDSCAPES OF SWEDEN

By: Katelyn Curtis

Isabella Stahl is a Swedish photographer who grew up near Stockholm and at the age of 6, her family moved to the middle of Sweden. Her child years was filled with spending days in the stable, swimming in lakes, and hiking through the wood with other children. When she reached her teen years, she craved craved an even greater adventure and was soon off traveling to New York, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, and Olso but eventually, Scandinavia slowly started pulling her back in. She came back to Sweden and traveled through the night to capture photos. Its reminiscence reminds her of when she was child, paying homage, when though she never felt like she belonged there.
